Centennial College Applied Work Practices/ Procedures II

This course introduces the students to MIG welding, welding advantages, transfer process, types of shielding gas, MIG and work set-up, wire diameters, weld defects, heat management, weld penetration, causes of burn through, and welding techniques will be covered in theory and lab. This course will also introduce the student to the types of tools used for auto body/collision repairs and proper use of these tools. It will cover the types and use of screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hacksaw, dollies, spoons, and body files.
