Description | Mohawk College’s Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer program is designed to equip students with skills required to repair today’s complex vehicles. Students will acquire job-specific skills and learn to repair dents in body panels, fenders and skirting, file, sand, grind and spray paint. They will also explore shrinking or stretching metal panels with heat treatment and welding breaks in body panels or structures; develop craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, personal pride, desirable work attitudes and a keen sense of responsibility in public and personal safety. Plus, there is the option for students to “earn while you learn”, combining on-the-job and in-school training. |
