Toronto, Ontario — As of July 1, Porsche Cars Canada has appointed Matthias Wacker to the role of director of aftersales. Wacker succeeds Alexander Pretsche who has returned to Germany after four years with the Canadian subsidiary of the automotive brand.
Wacker joins Porsche Cars Canada’s After Sales department from Porsche AG in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany where he has held various management positions in after-sales and supply chain strategy for the past five years. His tenure with the brand specifically began in 2013 in product monitoring and quality analytics at Porsche’s world headquarters in Zuffenhausen, Germany.
In a recent press release, John Cappella, president and CEO of Porsche Cars Canada said “Matthias’s impressive resume, abilities and knowledge of the brand make him an exceptional addition to the team. I would also like to thank Alexander Pretsche for his dedication, leadership and overall contribution to our success.”
