A Career Collaboration: Amazon Career Centre to offer training in auto sector via Automotive Training Centre

Toronto, Ontario — The Automotive Training Centre (ATC) has announced a partnership with Amazon’s Career Choice program in a collaboration aimed at providing employees with skills and training for a career in the automotive and transportation sectors.

Launched in 2012, Amazon’s Career Choice program was created to support employees’ educational pursuits by financing 95 percent of tuition, fees and book expenses for courses related to the program.

The ATC offers industry validated training in areas from collision and mechanical to auto body repair. Amazon employees in Surrey, B.C., Montreal, Que., and Cambridge and Toronto, Ont., will be able to participate by registering with the ATC and then following the procedures outlined by Amazon’s Career Choice program.

“We’re looking forward to the ATC coming on board as an education partner for Career Choice, adding to the hundreds of best-in-class offerings available to our employees,” said Tammy Thieman, Global Director of Amazon’s Career Choice program.

“We’re committed to empowering our employees by providing them access to the education and training they need to grow their careers whether that’s with us or elsewhere,” Thieman further noted.
