Description | This course allows students hands-on practice in completing repairs to a composite panel using hand tools, reinforcing material, and two-part adhesives. Students will prepare the SMC props, inflict the damage to the panel, and then create three different reinforcement backings. Students will do cosmetic repair to the front side of the panel and will receive support and feedback from the instructor in every step of the process as they obtain quality control checks before they move to the next stage of the repair. Each student will receive a Sample SOP Sheet as a takeaway. |
