Bringing in Broadfield: Shawn Broadfield joins CrashBay as advisor

Toronto, Ontario — CrashBay is proud to announce the appointment of industry leader and innovator Shawn Broadfield to its executive team in the role of board advisor. 

Broadfield brings a wealth of experience to the role, having initiated and led enterprise solutions for claims. As a finance lead for Allstate Insurance for more than two decades, Broadfield has a deep understanding of the Canadian and U.S. insurance landscapes. His role in leading the Sterling Autobody Collision Centers to profitability as managing director and CEO underscores his leadership expertise, noted a press release from CrashBay.

“[Shawn’s] career highlights include producing unique cost savings and implementing custom solutions that have significantly impacted the industry,” wrote CrashBay.  

Broadfield’s extensive background includes work as an innovation leader in digitizing claims for Allstate U.S., where he played a pivotal role in swapping out their claims software platform and instituting an online self-service program, noted CrashBay.

Beyond his executive roles, Shawn has served as a startup mentor, board member of the Global Insurance Accelerator of Des Moines, Iowa, United States; coach and strategy consultant. He is also known for his non-profit work, further highlighting his commitment to philanthropy and servant leadership.
