Getting the Gold: Porsche Centre Oakville and Kitchener-Waterloo technicians receive Gold Meister certifications

Oakville, Ontario — Porsche Centre Oakville posted on LinkedIn that it, alongside Porsche Centre Kitchener-Waterloo recently celebrated the naming of three new Gold Meister certified technicians across both locations.

The Gold Meister test is a hands-on practical test conducted at Porsche headquarters once a year. The test is a pass or fail exam that centres around product knowledge and proper repair documentation.

After achieving the Gold Meister standard, a technician has to maintain certification quarterly and attend at least 40 hours of hands-on training at a Porsche training centre.

To become a Gold Meister technician, a candidate must also have a minimum of four years experience with Porsche.

In its LinkedIn post, Porsche Centre Oakville offered congratulations to Gary King, Nick Wong and Joe Galletti on their successful completion of the certification process.
