Toronto, Ontario – Tesla has reportedly expanded its Quicksilver paint option to the Model 3 in both Canada and the United States.
Previously, the Quicksilver paint option was only available on the Model Y in North America but recently launched for the Model 3 in China earlier this month.
In an update to the Tesla Design Studio can now be added to any variant of the Model 3.
In Canada, doing this will increase the base price of the Tesla by $2,600, while in the United States it will come in at $2,000.
The automaker describes the Quicksilver as a “dynamic, liquid metal effect colour that accentuates the shape of Model 3 and Model Y.”
The colour first came out of Giga Berlin in late 2022 and at the time, was thought to be restricted to Germany because of Giga Berlin’s advanced Paint Shop, described by Elon Musk, Tesla CEO as the world’s most advanced.
