Toronto, Ontario — The Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) has announced that it is currently looking for experienced leaders to join the Discipline and Appeals Tribunals.
The organization is specifically looking for industry members who are directors or officers of new or used car dealerships and registered salespeople from new or used car dealerships.
For those selected, the minimum position term is three years beginning in November 2024, with the possibility of renewal for a maximum of nine years.
According to OMVIC, “the Discipline and Appeals Tribunals play a crucial role in upholding the standards of our industry, handling cases related to registrant’s violations of the Code of Ethics and independently addressing issues referred by OMVIC’s Registrar.”
