Toronto, Ontario — Vito Paladino, who has led Audi Canada since Sept. 2020, has assumed his new role as president and CEO of Volkswagen’s Canadian operations, effective January 2, 2024.
Paladino will now lead all Canadian branches of Volkswagen Group Canada’s operations, which includes Audi Canada, Automobile Lamborghini and Ducati.
Paladino assumes the new role in place of Pierre Boutin, who departed Volkswagen Canada in Nov. 2023 after three years with the company. Boutin will move to serve Volkswagen’s European operations.
“I’m honoured to start this year by assuming the position of President and CEO at Volkswagen Group Canada,” Paladino wrote on LinkedIn. “Our group of brands are among the most special in the world, with a long history in Canada led by a dedicated team. I’m also honoured to lead our supporting business units who are equally passionate to enable our business to new levels of success. Together, we are proud members of the North American team and enthusiastically look forward to supporting our brands towards the transformation of modern mobility in their respective segments.
“And most importantly to our fans and customers, it will be a privilege to continue our exciting journey with you.”
