Victoria, British Columbia — CARSTAR Canada will host its annual national conference, Velocity 2024, this week in Victoria, B.C. Collision Repair magazine is on-site at the event all week—stay tuned to our site and socials for real-time updates from the event.
The day started with the Harbour Hustle charity walk for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Attendees strolled along the waterfront in support of the organization and were visited by special guests from the BC Lions along the route.
Opening ceremonies kicked off an eventful birthday bash-themed evening. Co-emcees Matthew Mauro and Michele Robitaille delivered a welcome message, followed by an executive leadership message from Michael Macaluso, EVP and group president for Driven Brands.
Years of service awards were handed out to the dedicated CARSTAR network members from across Canada, celebrating 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years and 30 years of commitment to the brand.
An Opening Night 30th birthday bash featuring live music, custom cocktails, plenty of games and, of course, birthday cake, closed out the evening.
Attendees will be up bright and early (Pacific time) to kick off a full day of programming and breakout sessions.
