BMW Group training at the Dealers Collision Technology Institute

Toronto, Ontario — January 23, 2019 — Leader Auto Resource (LAR) training facility, the Dealers’ Collision Technology Institute located in Point-Claire, Quebec recently welcomed BMW Group Canada representatives who provided specialized damage assessment training for BMW and MINI vehicles to a dozen Canadian BMW estimators and technicians.

The state-of-the-art facility was launched in 2017 with a mission to offer a solution to ever-evolving training needs of bodyshops, and to ensure that dealers stay ahead of the protocols established by the OEM manufacturers. As a result, BMW Group Canada chose LAR’s facility to perform the training sessions because of it’s advanced and modern equipment.

At the beginning of December, about a dozen estimators and technicians from Eastern Canada attended the three sessions that were held over a three-day period.

As quality standards are becoming increasingly high at BMW, they currently offer state-of-the-art damage assessment training to CCCs (Certified Collision Centres) and collision centres across North America. Betag provided the necessary and practical information to the BMW Group trainers so that they could relay it to the CCCs participating in the training.
