Gatineau, Quebec — Fix Network Canada hosted its annual conference from June 12 to June 15, featuring a wide array of entertainment. From hot topics in the collision industry; the brilliant history of Fix Network and, of course, a special highlight on Fix’s Formula 1 partnership with the F1 Stake Kick Sauber Group, the event was a highlight for franchisees, insurance partners, suppliers, OEMs and all attendees.

Fix Network Canada franchisees and industry partners are in Gatineau, Quebec, this week for the company’s annual conference. The theme, Formula for Success, centres around topics like Fix Network World’s Formula 1 team sponsorship; the future of fuel and vehicle types; repair processes and more.

The conference kicked off with a Welcome Reception and Expo. The launch and welcome address was delivered by Catherine Duranceau and Sylvain Seguin. The rest of the evening was dedicated to the Expo, dinner, and various activities in support of Fix Network Canada’s charity of choice, Ronald McDonald House Canada.

Day two began with breakfast. The opening remarks were delivered by Catherine Duranceau, setting the tone for an exciting and jam-packed schedule ahead.

This was followed by a session on Global Branding presented by Fix Network World CEO, Steve Leal, and Fix Network Canada President, Sylvain Seguin. Their keynote insights provided valuable perspectives on the company’s exciting journey and touched on the multitude of countries where the company now touts a presence.

The next session was on the F1 Team Partnership, presented by the inspirational Managing Director of Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, Alessandro Alunni Bravi. Bravi took the time to answer the audience’s burning questions about anything and everything Formula 1. The F1 Stake Team Kick Sauber racecar was also at the event, allowing attendees a chance to witness the marvel while they enjoyed networking time.

The afternoon sessions began with Antoine Joubert’s presentation on the Future of Fuel (EV, Bio, Hydrogen, Gas)—a top-of-mind topic for franchisees in Canada, especially in Quebec, which offers the third-highest EV repairable claims rate in all of North America.

Joubert was followed by a session on IT Security by Corinne Gemayel. As a project manager specialist, Gemayel’s message emphasized the importance of staying connected, maximizing efficiency and migrating franchisees’ mailboxes from Rackspace to Office 365, which she referenced as the network’s “safe house” as an internal security-backed program.

The day concluded with a hilariously motivating keynote address by Jasmin Bergeron. Attendees were then given free time, followed by dinner. The evening was reserved for Sponsor VIP Rooms and further networking among the attendees.
