Toronto, Ontario — In honour of its 30th anniversary, CARSTAR supported over 30 charity walks in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada and raised $100,000 for the charity organization.
Cystic Fibrosis Canada has been the brand’s charity of choice for over 25 years and on May 25th, charity walks were held across Canada in various communities and neighbourhoods to bring awareness and raise funds for cystsic fibrosis.
Walks were specifically held at the following locations:
- Calgary Walk – CARSTAR MK Group, CARSTAR Calgary McKnight and Calgary Bowness
- Dartmouth Walk – CARSTAR Dartmouth
- Edmonton Walk – CARSTAR Johnny K Group
- Hamilton Walk – CARSTAR TORCAM Group and CARSTAR LC Group
- Kitchener-Waterloo Walk – CARSTAR Kitchener King
- Kitchener-Waterloo Walk – CARSTAR Cambridge
- Montréal Walk – CARSTAR St-Félix and CARSTAR Rawdon
- Ottawa Walk – CARSTAR Manotick and CARSTAR Southbank
- Québec City Walk – CARSTAR Charlesbourg
- Regina Walk – Cardiff CARSTAR Regina
- Toronto and the GTA Walk – CARSTAR Newmarket
- Winnipeg Walk – CARSTAR Manitoba Group
- Barrie Walk – CARSTAR Collingwood
- Campbell River Walk – CARSTAR Cambell River
- Estevan Walk – CARSTRA Estavan
- London Walk – CARSTAR London East and CARSTAR London West

According to a recent press release, “to make a few of the events even more special, CARSTAR worked with their sports team partners to have mascots and special guests attend a few of the walks alongside franchise owners and members of the CARSTAR Canada corporate staff. This included the Toronto Raptors cheerleaders in Toronto, Big Joe from the Ottawa Redblacks, Harvey the Hound from the Calgary Flames, Leo the Lion from the B.C. Lions, Sparx from the Hamilton Forge, Scorzy from the London Knights and Chuck, Flip and Tex from the Kitchener Rangers.”

In June, CARSTAR will also kick off Shine Season–a three-month period where owners can participate in various initiatives to raise money—to “change the meaning of ‘CF’ to ‘Cure Found.’”
For the three-month period, brand locations across the country will host Soaps It Up car washes, donate money for every Google Review received or hours worked and more.
