Toronto, Ontario — CARSTAR hosted two regional meetings last week, in Arnprior and Collingwood, Ont., which brought together CARSTAR owners, operations leaders and partners to share insights, review key performance indicators and look ahead at emerging trends in the collision repair industry.
Each meeting featured a comprehensive agenda designed to address core aspects of CARSTAR’s operations and business development. The review sessions covered operational KPIs and insurance performance, a marketing overview and forward-looking discussions on CARSTAR’s business trajectory.
Additionally, True Claims presented a forward-thinking session on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the future of estimating, and following that, participants engaged in a collaborative dialogue on managing customer challenges and developing employee growth plans.”
On Tuesday of last week, the Eastern Ontario team toured CARSTAR Arnprior, owned by Mike Mulder. The group specifically welcomed attendees to tour its 8,000-square-foot facility—once an old luggage factory.
Deeply rooted in the local community, the press release further highlighted how Mike Mulder also owns the long-established Arnprior Chrysler dealership. The team, led by store manager Laura and Scott prioritize DFR to drive strong KPIs.
Then, in Collingwood on Thursday, attendees visited CARSTAR Collingwood, led by a family-owned business with a 50-year legacy in the community. This facility was established by the Boucher family and third-generation owners, brothers Matthew and Andrew Boucher, who express the utmost “commitment to customer care and repair excellence,” said the CARSTAR corporate team.
Here, the tour highlighted CARSTAR Collingwood’s modern technology, quality standards and its impact on the local market with a young team who is eager to learn and grow their careers.
Both events allowed participants to connect and share best practices while gaining valuable insights into CARSTAR’s focus on leveraging artificial intelligence, building customer trust and ensuring sustainable growth across Ontario.
Additionally, the Northern Ontario meeting, held on Halloween, had the Boucher brothers and their CARSTAR Collingwood team, along with Daniel Trevisanutto from CARSTAR Thunder Bay, proudly sporting their costumes for the occasion.
Collin Welsh, Ontario zone director, CARSTAR Canada commented that “both of these meetings provided opportunities to connect on common challenges, highlight learnings from across locations and see what’s coming in terms of innovation for the industry. The real highlight for everyone was spending time in some impressive facilities. Both CARSTAR Arnprior and CARSTAR Collingwood have doubled its sales through streamlined operations and increased output. Owners were able to see how other stores find success and get key takeaways for their locations.”
